1. Who you are buying from

2. Orders and acceptance

Adding items to your bag and completing checkout is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil your order — stock, payment, or a delivery restriction — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

We may cancel an order where an item was listed at a manifestly incorrect price, where we suspect fraud, or where we are unable to verify the delivery address.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable sales tax where we are required to charge it.
• Delivery is charged at checkout unless your order qualifies for free shipping over $49.
• Customs duties and import taxes on international orders are the recipient’s responsibility and are not included in the price.
• Payment is taken at the point of order via our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

4. Delivery

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where a delivery is materially late, contact us and we will either re-send or refund. See shipping and delivery for current times and costs.

5. Cancellation and returns

You may return most items within 30 days. Your statutory cancellation rights, where they apply in your jurisdiction, are in addition to and not replaced by this policy. Full detail, including the exclusions, is in our returns and refunds policy.

6. Product descriptions and fit

We describe products as accurately as we can, but colours vary between screens and sizing varies between manufacturers. Minor variation is not a defect. Check the sizing guidance on the product page before ordering.

7. Faulty goods

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, tell us within a reasonable period of discovering the problem and we will repair, replace or refund it. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights in respect of faulty goods.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse this site: no attempts to breach security, scrape at a rate that degrades service, resell our content, or place orders fraudulently. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this is happening.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, nor for business losses. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Sport carries risk. Protective equipment reduces the chance of injury; it does not eliminate it. Use protective gear according to its instructions and replace it when damaged.

10. Intellectual property

The Kit Empire name, logo, site design, product photography and copy are ours. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order, so keep your order confirmation.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [Country / state whose law governs these terms], and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
